Description

This is an increased capacity sump cover designed for the Land Rover LT230 transfer case, and is a direct replacement for the thin factory cover. CNC milled from a solid block of aircraft grade aluminum, it is significantly stronger than the cast inspection cover.

Compatible with all model years of the Land Rover Defender and Discovery, and will fit either diesel or V8 motors. The increased capacity cover adds an additional 21 ounces of extra fluid volume to the LT230, which will aid in fluid longevity and overall lubrication and heat dispersion due to larger fluid volume.

There is also a "blank" pocket milled into the side of the unit for folks that may want to drill and tap an oil temperature gauge sending unit (since the pocket is blank, if you choose to run a sending unit it can simply be drilled & tapped for any array of sender threads).

NOTE: Fits 1983-2016 original Defender & 1994-2004 Discovery I/II only (and Range Rover Classic if equipped with the LT230).
